Celebrating 300 Years of New Orleans As New Orleans celebrates its tricentennial, The Historic New Orleans Collection invites you to discover the fascinating, authentic stories and people of this area. During 2018 THNOC will present two exhibitions that cover a range of New Orleans history and culture. New Orleans, the Founding Era , opening February 27, examines the city’s earliest residents, including native populations, European settlers, and enslaved laborers. Art of the City: Postmodern to Post-Katrina , presented by The Helis Foundation, will be the opening exhibition at THNOC’s exciting new building in the fall. For more information, visit www.hnoc.org.
