Founded to increase public awareness and appreciation of all aspects of design, and the vital role it plays for industries and organizations, this year’s themes will span across the design spectrum to provide a fun and diverse experience of all that Boston’s talented design community has to offer. Programs will range from DIY workshops to tech design, from interior design to art galleries, and from graphic design to exclusive museum tours, to product design, and healthcare. Boston Design Week is proud to announce it is now a member of World Design Weeks, an international coalition to share knowledge, resources, and best practices. This year’s events are building on the success of 2018, where 73 participants offered more than 70 events during the twelve days and more than 15,000 people attended events throughout fourteen neighborhoods within Boston and ten surrounding cities and towns. And on April 5, be sure to attend the Boston Design Week Awards, held Friday evening at the new gallery at Artists for Humanity, 100 West 2nd Street, Boston.
