— 1 — Dear Friends: Welcome to the 52nd annual Delaware Antiques Show, a presentation of the very best in decorative and fine arts available today. In 1964 the founders of the show established a very high standard, and each year this eagerly awaited fall event sets the bar just a little bit higher. It is without doubt one of the premier Americana shows in the country, boasting a litany of dedicated dealers, educational lectures, and magnificent objects that are second to none. The Delaware Antiques Show strives to both educate and entertain. As a benefit for Winterthur’s numerous educational programs, the show contributes enormously to our efforts to maintain a high standard of scholarship and service for a large and diverse public. Staging a show of this magnitude is truly a collaborative effort, and our sincere thanks are extended to all who have had a hand in its success: To our advertisers, sponsors, and patrons we send a special note of gratitude; your financial support and generosity are indispensable.
