Nathalie and Esme participate in the egg-drop contest during the 2016 Engineers Week Girl Day sponsored by Raytheon. The Boys & Girls Club of Newport County is dedicated to the healthy lifestyles, academic success, and character and leadership development of youth. The Club helps to build self-esteem and prepare kids of today for tomorrow’s challenges. With hard work and fun play, BGC hopes to create positive experiences that last a lifetime! Opportunities abound at the Boys & Girls Club of Newport County where kids learn valuable skills and lifelong lessons. For nearly 60 years, the Clubhouse has been home to where numerous youth have learned to swim, received much-needed homework assistance, played basketball and made life-long friendships. Today, in addition to the Central and North End Clubhouses, the Club also operates Camp Grosvenor, a 95-acre summer day camp in Saunderstown, RI. 28
