A rare discovery from the EDWARD HICKS WORKSHOP is is the first signed example among a handful of distinctive paint-decorated dome-top boxes attributed to the workshop of Edward Hicks (1780-1849), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, circa 1830, inscribed “W.
