PINE GROVE FORGE AND BRIDGE Signed “GC” for George Cope (1855–1929) and dated 1884. In that year a new covered bridge was built across the Octoraro Creek separating Lancaster and Chester counties in Pennsylvania. One of his finest and most detailed works. Oil on canvas, 24" x 32".
