12 Loan Show exhibition BLOOMING BEAUTIES A GARDEN OF ANTIQUES This special loan exhibition highlights Pennsylvania German fraktur and redware from several private collections as well as a selection of garden furniture from Winterthur. Pennsylvania German art has long been admired for its vibrant use of creative imagery, much of it based on nature. More than two dozen examples of fraktur (decorated manuscripts) featuring floral motifs will be on display along with an assortment of redware plates, flowerpots, vases, and wall pockets with floral designs. The Winterthur garden furniture includes urns filled with breathtaking arrangements inspired by designs on the fraktur and redware.
