ADA Show 2010

Dear Antiquer, Historic Deerfield welcomes you and the ADA back for another great antiques show on this Columbus Day Weekend 2010 at Deerfield Academy. This year we will again offer a classic Tavern Night celebration on Saturday, October 9. For information and reservations, please ask at the ticket desk at the show. A new exhibition on view at the Flynt Center of Early New England Life and in several museum houses this fall is entitled Dinner is Served!: Dining and the Decorative Arts in Early America. It is part of the region-wide special event Table for Ten: The Art, History, and Science of Food, sponsored by Museums10 (museums10.org ). We hope that you will find the time to tour our museum houses. Private, customized Tours-by-Appointment (2–6 people) are also available. For relaxed fine dining, please consider Champney’s Restaurant & Tavern at the Deerfield Inn. Many of us think that the ADA/Historic Deerfield Antiques Show is the best in the Northeast, but please judge for yourself! Philip Zea, President
