ADA Show 2011

Dear Antiquer, Historic Deerfield welcomes you and the ADA back for another great antiques show over Columbus Day Weekend 2011 at Deerfield Academy. Many of us think that the ADA/Historic Deerfield Antiques Show is the best in New England, but please judge for yourself! A new exhibition on view at the Flynt Center of Early New England Life this fall is titled Curators’ Choice: A New Look at Old Objects . Collectors will want to be sure to also visit: Celebrating the Fiber Arts: The Helen Geier Flynt Textile Gallery , Engraved Powder Horns from the French and Indian War and the American Revolution: The William H. Guthman Collection , and Into the Woods: Crafting Early American Furniture . We hope that you will find the time to tour our museum houses. Private, customized Tours-by-Appointment (2–6 people) are available by contacting (413) 774-5581 or tours@historic-deerfield.org. Some people say that “all roads lead to Deerfield.” We sincerely hope that you enjoy your visit to The Street, and find yourself back here soon. Philip Zea, President
