THOMAS JAYNE | FRIDAY, MARCH 16 AT 11 AM New York-based interior designer and author several books, including the newly published, Classical Principles for Modern Design: Lessons from Edith Wharton and Ogden Codman’s The Decoration of Houses, Thomas Jayne magnificently intertwines the history of each setting he approaches in his work. He is known for taking the old and “rethinking in color, shape and juxtaposition” to create new and refreshing spaces. Founder of Jayne Design Studio, Thomas has been named a member of Architectural Digest ’s AD100 List and Elle Decor ’s A-List. GIL SCHAFER | FRIDAY, MARCH 16 AT 2 PM Gil Schafer is a New York-based architect and author of A Place to Call Home and The Great American House. When creating a home, his philosophy is to “create opportunities for memories, even in the smallest moments of life.” Whether he is building from the ground up or renovating an existing home, Gil’s award-winning firm never fails to flawlessly fuse old and new in their designs. BETH WEBB | SATURDAY, MARCH 17 AT 11 AM Atlanta-based designer and author of An Eye for Beauty, Beth Webb’s designs engage the five senses to create encapsulating living spaces through natural materials, soft palettes, and light. Editor-in-Chief of Veranda, Clinton Smith, describes her as a master of art and science who never fails to create “resplendent spaces that are warm and inviting.” Founder and Creative Director of Beth Webb Interiors, she has won prestigious awards including 2015 Southeast Designer of the Year and Luxe Magazine Gold List in 2017. MARSHALL WATSON | SATURDAY, MARCH 17 AT 2 PM New York-based designer and author of The Art of Elegance: Classic Interiors, Marshall Watson’s diligently researched work is described as classically romantic, unexpected and sophisticated. After founding Marshall Watson Interiors in 1986, success followed as he went on to design three bestselling furniture collections for Edward Ferrell + Lewis Mittman. He has also been named a member of Luxe ’s Gold List and Traditional Home ’s Designer of the Year.
