MIAS Design and Antiques Fair 2010

Director’s Note Welcome to the 2010 Design & Antiques Fair! We are delighted to present our exciting expansion of the Antiques Show & Sale, which enjoyed a twenty-five year run on the fall calendar of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. During last year’s hiatus, we conceived an exciting new show schedule and moved the venue to the St. Paul Armory. Now including 20th century design as well as hundreds of authentic antiques, the show expands its reach. You’ll see furniture, acces- sories, silver, glassware, paintings, posters, and more from dealers around the country. This is treasure hunting of the highest order. Dealer talks are scheduled on Friday and Saturday, and our curators in the Department of Decorative Arts, Textiles, and Sculpture will be on hand to provide assistance. Collectors are sure to unearth some great finds, designers are bound to appreciate the eclectic mix, and browsers will accumulate unlimited ideas. Proceeds will benefit the Decorative Arts, Textiles, and Sculpture Depart- ment at the MIA. Have a wonderful time perusing this precious bounty!
