3 Anne Marie Bratton 2012 August Antiques Show FROM THE CHAIR Welcome to the 35th Annual August Antiques Show, the premiere summer antiques show in the United States. The August Antiques show is the Nantucket Historical Association’s single largest fund-raiser and is vital to ensuring the organization’s ongoing ability to serve as custodian of our island’s rich cultural heritage. The importance of the NHA’s work and its mission is immeasurable. In addition to providing support for the popular Whaling Museum, proceeds from the Antiques Show also help the NHA to care for its twenty-one other historic properties and sites, to develop and maintain its collections, and to offer unique educational programs related to Nantucket history.
