6 In Memoriam Mr. Bernard S. Gewirz Since we last gathered in person, a longtime supporter of the Newport Show has passed away. It is with great sadness that we remember: Mr. Bernard (Bernie) S. Gewirz We remember with gratitude Bernie, whose visionary philanthropy provided cornerstone funding for The Newport Show, forever enriching the cultural landscape of our community. His enduring generosity will continue to inspire us for years to come. We would also like to remember Mr. George G. Herrick, former board member of the Newport Historical Society and Newport Show Supporter, who passed early this year.
