Pennsylvania Antiques Show 2026

22 H I STOR I C TR APPE Proceeds from the Pennsylvania Antiques Show support Historic Trappe’s educational and public programs. Throughout the year, Historic Trappe welcomes thousands of visitors for guided tours, lectures, workshops, field trips, and family programs that introduce audiences to the history and material culture of southeastern Pennsylvania. Many of these programs are offered free of charge. Educational programs for young people form a central part of Historic Trappe’s efforts. Through our popular Kids Dig History program, students and families participate in hands- on archaeology workshops where they screen soil, examine artifacts, and learn from living history interpreters. Historic Trappe also offers seasonal camps and workshops that provide young participants with exposure to archaeology, local history, historic preservation, and material culture. The opening of the Speaker’s House will expand Historic Trappe’s programming with new initiatives focused on civic education. As the home of Frederick Muhlenberg, first Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, the building provides an ideal setting for programs that examine the early development of American government and the responsibilities of citizenship. This year, Historic Trappe will also launch a new living history program at the site, where soldiers’ encampments on the grounds will recreate the daily routines of Revolutionary War soldiers. Support from the Pennsylvania Antiques Show helps ensure that these programs continue to reach new audiences each year.
