Philadelphia Antiques Show 2016_

The Penn Acute Research Collaboration (PARC) is an exciting new initiative created to foster discovery and improve care for patients who suffer from unplanned sudden events, such as stroke, heart attack, or traumatic injury. These acute diseases are difficult to study, so Penn Medicine is developing an innovative new approach, combining the expertise of diverse research areas under one roof. Physician scientists from surgery, trauma, orthopaedics, neurology, emergency medicine, neurosurgery and other departments will work together to build a dynamic research team that will be available 24/7 to study these life-threatening conditions and apply cutting-edge scientific approaches at the bedside. PARC will be a first-of-its-kind collaborative research program that will complement the remarkable new critical care programs at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. The PARC research team wishes to thank The Philadelphia Antiques & Art Show for its support, and we are thrilled to join the show in celebrating its 54th year. ✷ 19 ✷
