a very rare desk and bookcase with double-domed top and ball feet. Beautifully designed and with exceptional inlay, this piece was probably made in the Boston area, c.1710-20. Walnut, with white pine, cedrela, and oak secondary woods, it retains its original etched brasses and hinges, and its original feet. Lower case 36", 82" in height.
