Rosamond taught school at Kimbill Union Academy in Plainfield, NH from 1822–1824. In 1825 she was teaching in Hanover, NH and in 1826 back in Plainfield and in 1828 in St. Johnsbury, VT. In 1830 she married Dr. Adoniram Smalley, they had six children. Rosamond was one of six children born to Roger Wood and Achsha Tilden. Watercolor on paper: 15¾ x 22¾ inches.
