Washington Winter Show 2016

125 The Washington Decorative Arts Forum is a tax-exempt organization that presents illustrated lectures on American decorative arts, architecture, and related subjects by prominent scholars and museum curators. Since its founding by local collectors in 1994, WDAF has made grants to the State Department’s Diplomatic Reception Rooms, Winterthur Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Fine Arts, Tudor Place Historic House & Garden, Octagon House Museum, Decatur House Museum, Colonial Williamsburg, and to individual researchers to support the study and exhibition of American decorative arts. WDAF presents six to eight lectures a year from September to May and mailsmembers an occasional newsletter highlighting exhibitions, auctions, antiques shows and books about decorative arts and architecture. A cocktail reception precedes our lectures. For membership information and a list of current programs, please e-mail Forbes Maner at fmaner@verizon.net.
