Washington Winter Show 2016

Dear Guests, It is a true privilege to serve as Honorary Diplomatic Chair of the 2016 Washington Winter Show and I extend the warmest of welcomes to all visitors to the show. The organizers have once again done extraordinary work gathering so many items of beauty and distinction — rich in aesthetic appeal and historical interest. I particularly love the fact that this year we are seeing the world of antiques “Through the Eyes of a Child”; it adds a special magic and freshness to the exhibition. And of course as we feast our eyes on all that the show offers, we know that we are benefitting really worthwhile and deserving local charities. Ireland has a rich history in fine arts and I am sure I will find much to delight in as I browse the exhibition stands.
