JANUARY 9 In-person concert by the Wagner Society Chamber Players at the Washington Winter Show 1:30 pm at the Katzen Arts Center, American University FEBRUARY 10 Lecture by Saul Lilienstein: “Wagner versus Brahms: A Re-examination” 7:30 pm at the Arts Club of Washington DC MARCH 10 Lecture by William Pastor: “From Wagner to Literary Modernity” 7:30 pm at the Arts Club of Washington DC APRIL 10 In-person recital by soprano Jennifer Wilson 2:00 pm at the Arts Club of Washington DC JUNE 3–5 Annual “Wagner in der Wildnis” seminar Cacapon Resort State Park Berkeley Springs, West Virginia The Wagner Society of Washington DC promotes the understanding and enjoyment of the work of Richard Wagner through programs like these.
