Washington Winter Show 2026

8 January 2026 Dear Friends, It is a true pleasure to serve as this year’s Honorary Diplomatic Chair of the Washington Winter Show, a premier event that unites fine art and antiques in a celebration of creativity, history, and philanthropy. For seventy-one years, the Washington Winter Show has welcomed art lovers, collectors, and guests from around the world to discover exceptional collections and works of art. This year, the Show continues its long-standing commitment to supporting at-risk children and families in Washington, D.C., with proceeds benefiting the Bishop John T. Walker School for Boys and Building Bridges across the River. This year’s exhibit “Marks of Friendship: 250 Years of U.S. Diplomatic Treasures,” carries particular significance, as it commemorates the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States. As the first country to recognize the independence of the United States, this occasion is especially meaningful for Morocco as well, marking two and a half centuries of Moroccan – American diplomatic relations, the longest unbroken diplomatic treaty in American history. It is a privilege to participate in celebrating this remarkable milestone through an event that so beautifully illustrates how art and craftsmanship can serve as enduring bridges between cultures. My warmest congratulations to all who have contr ibuted to bringing this year’s s how to life. I wish you a wonderful, inspiring, and memorable 2026 Washington Winter Show. Sincerely, Youssef Amrani Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco 4
