52 SUSAN SCOTT V AN NICE 1948 – 2025 Throughouther life, Susanwasdedicatedtopublicservice. Shewasa lifelongmember of the Junior League, an organization of women focused on leadership development and promotion of community voluntarism. After moving to Washington, DC in 1980, Susan became immersed in the city’s art and cultural communities. She served as a docent at the National Gallery of Art for over 35 years, sharing her passion for art and enriching the experiences of countless visitors to the city. She also served as Co-Chairperson of the Washington Antiques Show, the second oldest charitable antiques show in the United States. Susan especially cherished her time hosting holiday celebrations for her grandchildren and extended family, planning educational forays and multi-sport expeditions around the world, as well as orchestrating an annual New Year’s Eve extravaganza that was always completed by 9 p.m. INMEMORIAM 2026 WASHINGTON WINTER SHOW
