Summer 2016 Preview

This work will be featured in our spring exhibition, Insights on Collecting . Accompanied by a 48-page publication, the exhibition will shed light on vital information all art collectors should know: pricing, condition, framing and hanging. In addition, seasoned collectors will be offering their advice on navigating the art world. The catalogue will be available for $15 and Insights on Collecting will be viewable in the gallery and online from May 21st through July 9th, 2016. C HARLES C OURTNEY C URRAN (1861-1942) A leader of New York State’s Cragsmoor artists’ colony, Charles Courtney Curran was a successful artist throughout his lifetime, earn- ing many awards for his figure paintings of beautiful young women set among the grand vistas of the Hudson River Valley region.
