Many of these designs were based on flowers grown in kitchen and ornamental gardens that provided inspiration for local artists. Join us for this fascinating talk that explores the range of floral imagery found in Pennsylvania German art and provides an overview of the culture’s traditional gardening practices.* About Lisa Minardi Lisa Minardi is Assistant Curator of Furniture for the southeastern Pennsylvania furniture project at Winterthur and has studied Pennsylvania German arts and architecture for more than 15 years.
