Annual Delaware Antiques Show 2019

The Irish Georgian Society is proud to be participating in this year’s show . The Irish Georgian Society is a membership organization whose purpose is to promote awareness and the protection of Ireland’s architectural heritage, decorative arts and gardens. The Society has an international membership. Based in Dublin, we have active regional Chapters in Cork, Birr and Limerick and, in the UK, a thriving London Chapter. The Society is also very active in the United States with it’s headquarters in Chicago and Chapters in Chicago, Boston, New York and Palm Beach. The benefits of membership include: a twice-yearly magazine; participation in the Society’s events program; the Society’s annual journal Irish Architectural and Decorative Studies; and free or concessionary access to selected heritage properties in Ireland. The Irish Georgian Society was founded in 1958 by the Hon. Desmond Guinness and Mariga Guinness for the protection of buildings of architectural merit in Ireland. Many fine houses have been saved through their enthusiasm and commitment, and the dedication of members and supporters.
